and so last week was spent in the bungalow...which means 24/7 air-con, eating and bbq! , lazing around and most importantly, cable telly!!! hehe.i took this shot while me and the cousins were waiting for the sunset by the beach, gonna ask my photographer boyfriend what he thinks of this. heh.
i invited my high school friends over, but nobody could make it , well, its okay, i'll take the blame of not planning earlier, and then mom blaming me for all the food going to waste...i guess im not gonna be the official planner of such meetups like this anymore. okay, lets not talk about it... my college mates came over, we called macdonalds delivery and irritated the receiver, lol, and had a blast watching beverly hills chihuahua...i rate the show ten outta ten! hehehe. boyfie came and slept over too, sighs, how i wish my parents would undertsand and we can be more comfortable around my family. oh wells, we went cycling in the morning and i made breakfast for him and bid him goodbye as he left to book in.
yesterday i went to the one of the infamous polyclinics, what the heck, i'll just type it here, HOUGANG SINGHEALTH POLYCLINIC. i had to wait three freaking hours just to see the doctor. i had to wait one hour just to register, another two hours for the doctor to get back from lunch, HOW FUCKING ABSURD.i know i wasnt a serious case, but how about the many singaporens who have to wait so long in the public clinic like this, because they cant afford healthcare at private clinics?? i couldnt take it, i just had to write a feedback form and complain. i felt like spitting on the president and his wife's photos on the wall. the government goes about saying they wanna make singapore into a premier medical hub of asia and the world, but they cant even take care of their own singaporeans, cos why? becos the goverment is always putting the foreigners first before their own people...and why? for their money.politics in singapore is just plain retarded, like, nobody knows who the president is, he just popped out of nowhere? and we're giving him so much money, respect and power and now you tell me, what for?
i went for my annual heart checkup at the national heart centre. i didnt know how serious it was until the doctor told me about all the precautions i must take everyday. all along, i kept thinking that im just perfectly normal, healthwise, but i admit, i push myself very hard, in those school physical activities back then. i would treat random sudden heartaches as just me being very tired. i was emotional after the checkup, sobbed abit, im always like that after every checkup but i always managed to hide it from momma. heh. and i called boyfriend after his training, and he just made me remember all the good things that i already have... like, him, my family, my topshop shades, my two tubs of corn ice cream and vanilla coke in the fridge, my oxford heels, my flats, my leaking air-con, my computer with awesome sound system, etc etc...
on a lighter note, its partayy time with rathi for some good ol' ladies night clubbing. hope everything goes as planned. wanna dance my ass off.
